Gracie says she and her mom argue and yell at each other every day. The 15-year-old admits that she has called her mom names and hit her stepdad in the face – but says her mom provokes her and once she gets angry, she can’t stop.

“What are you so afraid of?” Dr. Phil asks the teen.

“I’m not afraid,” she replies.

“That’s not true,” Dr. Phil says. “You’re never weaker, you’re never more a victim than when you’re angry. Because you have to understand, anger is a reaction to being victimized.”
