What May Be Driving 23-Year-Old’s Constant Worry That She’s Sick Or Going To Die
Alexandra says she’s always worried that she’s sick or that she may die. She says her fears have driven her to the E.R. up to twice a week, and she’s been fired from jobs for leaving to go to the hospital. Her family says Alexandra lives in a constant state of anxiety and often turns explosive.
“I think you’re addicted to going to the hospital the same way that someone would be addicted to drugs or alcohol,” Dr. Phil tells Alexandra on Wednesday’s episode. “It gives you relief for a short period of time.”
Does Alexandra believe that her behavior is change-worthy? See what happens on Wednesday’s episode, "'$10,000 and Counting: My Sister’s 'Hypochondria' is Ruining Her Life.'" Check local listings to see where you can watch.
