What Members Of The Behavior Panel Say About Behavior Of Woman Who Claims To Be Madeleine McCann
Julia Wendell, a 21-year-old from Poland, says she believes she is Madeleine McCann, a girl who disappeared in 2007 at 3 years old during a family vacation in Portugal. She claims there are striking similarities in their physical appearances and that there are other connections in their lives.
On Monday’s episode of Dr. Phil, "Exclusive: 'I Believe I am Madeleine McCann,'" Wendell tells Dr. Phil she has no memory of her early childhood -- except for being at a beach with people she doesn’t recognize – claims she has never seen her birth certificate and has never seen photographs of herself as a baby or her mother pregnant. However, Wendell’s parents in Poland deny she is Madeleine McCann and insist she is their biological child. Watch here.
