‘What You’re Saying Is Infuriating To People Who Are Losing Loved Ones,’ Dr. Phil Tells 21-Year-Old
After celebrating spring break by the thousands and disregarding the government's physical distancing mandates, millennials have become a new target for health officials and the White House in their efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Is quarantine ruining your life?
Twenty-one-year-old Ava proudly admits that she went to Miami for spring break, “made out with a bunch of people,” hung out with others on the beach, and was “not hygienic.” She says she doesn’t have coronavirus, so what’s the problem?
On Thursday’s episode of Dr. Phil, Dr. Phil, who is working alone from home to respect the physical distancing guidelines, takes her to task for her behavior and comments. “Do you have any concern about the fact that if you just get outside, and enjoy life, and perpetuate the spread of this virus, you put more older people at risk?” he asks her.
See their heated exchange in the video above.
