Why A 31-Year-Old Claims Looking In The Mirror Makes Her Feel Physically Ill

          VIDEO

          November 29, 2017

“I hate the way I look,” says 31-year-old Kayleigh, who claims she gets physically ill just looking in the mirror.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Life in crisis?

“I have dry heaves. Sometimes, I’ll throw up. I literally will get physically sick. Most days, I avoid mirrors altogether. I just see flaws everywhere,” she says.

Kayleigh says she’s to the point where she constantly obsesses over her own body and compares herself to other women; which makes her feel like there is nothing she can do to be pretty enough. “No matter what I do, or try, I am ugly,” she says.

How does Kayleigh say her negative body image has impacted her day-to-day life? Tune in to Friday’s Dr. Phil.
