Andy says he and his fiancée, Caitlin, have gone out of their way to foster a relationship between his ex-girlfriend, Megan, and Andy and Megan’s son, Avery, after he was awarded full custody of the 5-year-old. They say they’ve even allowed her to move into their home – twice – so that she wouldn’t have to move into a homeless shelter.

“At first, living with Andy and Caitlin was amazing. I was so happy,” Megan says. “I was able to be Avery’s mom every single day. We could co-parent, and everything was fine.”

“It was a complete nightmare,” Andy says. “She wouldn’t help out around the house. She wouldn’t help with Avery.”
