Jason’s 15-year-old son, Gabe, has spent 494 days in juvenile detention, broken into a house and stolen firearms, and says he likes to hang with his “homies.”

“Gabe is going to do what Gabe wants to do,” Jason says. “Gabe’s attitude makes things very stressful for us.”
 

Jason says he and his wife, Sharon, are not on the same page when it comes to parenting Gabe. He claims Sharon sinks to Gabe’s level and doesn’t understand that the teen can’t be forced to change.

“I get frustrated. We argue more. Nothing gets resolved. Gabriel ends up, basically, winning the situation,” Jason says. “If we’re not on the same page, I do not see this working for Gabe. I’m in fear that Gabe is going to end up shot or in prison.”
