TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Bad mother/daughter relationship?

“You’ve got a relationship pattern going that’s not at all constructive,” Dr. Phil tells the pair, adding, “And that has to change.”

Continuing, he says, “This family situation is toxic,” and suggests that Theresa and Tessa need to take a break from one another.

Dr. Phil refers Tessa to Turnabout Ranch in Utah, a residential center for teens which offers structure, therapy, and academics for adolescents who may be struggling with emotional or behavioral challenges.

He then refers Theresa to a program for adults at Onsite, specializing in helping individuals to overcome trauma, burn-out and dysfunctional patterns so they can establish healthy relationships.

          Do they agree to go?
