Why John Ramsey Believes His Daughter’s Murder Was About Him

          September 20, 2016

Twenty years after his 6-year-old daughter, JonBenet Ramsey, was found lifeless in the basement of their Boulder, CO home, John Ramsey opens up about how experts said the murder may have been about him.

“You’ve been told by experts something that I know had to be very hard to hear and very hard to live with over the last 20 years: that this crime may very well have been about you,” Dr. Phil tells John.

“I sadly and regretfully believe that, yes,” John responds.

“So you believe whatever was done to JonBenet was done to punish you?” Dr. Phil asks.

          “Yes,” says John. “I do.”
