Why Mom Defends Sex Offender Boyfriend

          April 10, 2017

Arlene says she was recently forced to remove her 16-year-old daughter, Morgan, from her home because she moved in her sex offender boyfriend. Arlene claims when the Department of Family and Child Services found out that there was a sex offender in the house, she was given no choice but to find another place for Morgan to live.

Arlene says she didn’t see a problem with Mark living in their home. She says she and Morgan have known Mark for a long time and she knows he would not hurt her daughter. She says Morgan even thought of Mark as a father-figure and didn’t have a problem with him until he moved into their home.

“Mark has never done anything to make her uncomfortable. She loved the man enough that she kept pictures he drew her on her wall,” Arlene says.

Dr. Phi interrupts her. “You’re saying Mark has never done anything to make her feel uncomfortable, in your opinion,” he says to Arlene. “She’s telling you otherwise.”
