Shortly after Rebecca Zahau’s naked body was found dead, hanging from a balcony at her boyfriend’s California mansion, police ruled her death a suicide, claiming the 32-year-old was distraught over the serious injuries, including brain damage, that her boyfriend’s son suffered while in her care just days prior.

Zahau’s family, however, insists there is no way she would have taken her own life. They claim she was murdered by her boyfriend’s brother, Adam Shacknai, who found her body.

Three months after she died, Zahau’s family decided to exhume her body and perform a second autopsy – hoping new evidence would prove their theory.
