Holly says when she met her husband, Murat, he was nurturing, caring, and made her feel safe and protected. She says they had a whirlwind romance and married a few months after meeting.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Fed up with your spouse?

“One day, he said, ‘Why wait? Let’s just go get a marriage license and let’s start the process,’” Holly recalls. “I was freaking out the whole time, but I decided to go with it and make the best of it.”

However, Holly says things changed shortly after they tied the knot. She claims Murat often talked about money and took $2,500 from her account without her knowing. She also claims that Murat lied about his finances, saying he was $50,000 in debt but she later found out that he was closer to $100,000 in debt. And, Holly says she does all the chores around the house, including cooking and cleaning.

Holly claims when she told Murat she wanted a divorce, their physical altercations started. “He threw me on the ground," she claims of the first incident. "I didn’t call the police because I wanted to believe that this was a one-time thing."

In the video above, Holly describes two other times she claims Murat was physical with her.

“The abuse that I have been through with Murat has made me feel worthless, and I’m not loved, and I’m not important,” Holly says. “I was in love at the beginning, but as all the lies poured out, Murat broke my heart.”
