Christine says after she lost custody of her children to her ex, David, she wondered whether he was abusing their daughter, Kelly.TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Is your family a stressed mess?
“I would see pictures of David and Kelly on Facebook, and it would just seem odd. I was seeing his arm around her, like a couple,” Christine says. “After my granddaughter was born, she looked like one of my kids. Christine says she tried to continue to remain in contact with her children but claims David made it difficult. “David wouldn’t let me talk to the kids. Communication pretty much stopped after the first year. I wasn’t able to see them either,” she says. “After a few times trying to go through the court, I finally just threw my hands up in the air and said, ‘[Expletive] it. I’ll see them when they’re 18.”

“I want to have the perfect mother and daughter relationship,” Christine says. “At this point, the only thing I want to accomplish is to have my daughter move on. I know it was traumatic, it’ll take some time to get over, but you just have to move on. Life goes on.”
