Why Young Woman Fears Her Mom Will ‘Die Any Day Now’
Morgan and Ashley claim their mom, Treva, is a “violent alcoholic” and they say their fear she will die or kill someone else.
“My mom is drinking herself to death,” says Ashley. “I’m just tired of my mom making our lives a living hell.”
The sisters turned to Dr. Phil a year ago to get help for their mom. Treva walked on Dr. Phil’s stage barefoot and was legally drunk, but she did agree to enter treatment after the show. Watch more of her appearance here, and see what happened on her way to rehab here.
“When Mom was at the sober living center, she broke the rules and got drunk, and she was kicked out of the program and sent right back home,” Morgan says. “And when I picked her up from the airport, she was already drunk.”
Ashley claims her mom is now drinking at least a handle of liquor a day. “I’m afraid my mom will die any day now,” she says. “My fear is I will not care if she dies.”
Is Treva ready to quit drinking once and for all? Check here to see where you can watch Friday’s episode.
Season 16 of Dr. Phil premieres Tuesday, September 12. Check here to see where you can watch.
