Woman Admits She Uses Alcohol ‘To Try To Numb The Way My Children Make Me Feel’
Siblings Tony, Ashely, and Marena claim their mother, Traci’s, drinking is out of control. They say it’s been months since they’ve seen her, because they claim that when Traci drinks, she becomes “mean,” “judgmental,” and a danger to herself and others. Marena and Tony also say she’s not allowed to see their kids until she admits she has a problem.
“My kids treat me like garbage,” says Traci, who vehemently denies that she is alcohol dependent. “If they don’t get their way, they use my grandchildren against me.”

Continuing, she says, “I would not call myself an alcoholic, but I do abuse it to try to numb the way my children make me feel.”
