Woman Says She Started Posting About Husband’s Near-Death Injury On Social Media To Help Others
Maegan says she started posting videos about her husband, Josh, who has been living in a vegetative state since he attempted suicide two years ago, after she was arrested, and their story was on the internet. She says she's trying to raise awareness about anoxic brain injuries -- and that she has helped others.
Maegan’s mother-in-law, Kelly, claims Maegan is trying to seek attention and is exploiting Josh. “She has over 150,000 followers on social media due to Josh’s injury,” Kelly says. “Her followers do attack me … Some of her followers are saying I’m selfish for wanting my son to stay alive. I would like her followers to know everything that they believe about this story is a lie.” Maegan denies that she is exploiting her husband.
On Monday’s episode, a brain specialist shares information about anoxic brain injuries like Josh's. Check local listings to see where you can watch "'It's Time to Let My Husband Peacefully Pass Away.'"
