Danielle says her ex-boyfriend Brandon is manipulative, controlling and does “everything he possibly can” to keep her from seeing her daughter, of whom she lost custody and only has visitation. She also claims that Brandon threatened to kill her when she was five months pregnant.

She says his threat happened during a phone conversation in which she claims Brandon was drunk. “I had told him, You are never going to be the man your father was, and he said, ‘If you ever talk about my father again, I’m going to [expletive] kill you,’” Danielle says to Dr. Phil. “I called 911, and they told me to go and file a restraining order.”

Noting that according to Danielle she was in New York and Brandon was 1,000 miles away, Dr. Phil asks, “He was in North Carolina and you called 911?”

“I was scared,” Danielle says.

Brandon adamantly denies Danielle’s allegations and points out that Danielle didn’t make this claim until a 2010 custody hearing. “The first time I heard about it was actually on the stand when I was attempting to get full custody of our daughter,” he says. “This is, once again, another delusion of Danielle’s. Another false accusation that [she] just throws at me to hope that it sticks, especially in court. ”

On Tuesday’s episode, Dr. Phil doesn’t mince words when he tells Danielle what he believes she needs to do to have the opportunity to spend more time with her daughter. Check here to see where you can watch.
