Jules says she believes the root of all illness lies in the gut, or rather, the 20-70 lbs. of food waste she claims people carry in their guts. Jules insists the remedy is a high fruit, raw vegan.

Jules blogs about her vegan and fruitarian lifestyle and posts videos and recipes on social media @The_Raw_Vegan_Family, where she also talks about transitioning her 3-year-old daughter to the diet.

“We all became fruitarian for some time, and now we eat high fruit, raw vegan, and it has really phenomenally changed our lives, and so many of my clients’ (lives) as well,” says Jules.

Jules claims that this diet is safe and healthful and can cure everything from addiction, to diabetes, to cancer. How does she respond when Dr. Phil challenges her assertions?

This episode of Dr. Phil, “Dangerous Diet Crazes?” airs Tuesday. And later, Desiree Nazarian, M.P.H, a nutritionist at the Weight Loss Clinic of Los Angeles talks about some possible issues with eating a high fruit raw vegan diet.
