Woman Claims She Blacked Out The Night She Shot Her Husband

          VIDEO

          September 5, 2018

Debbie went to prison for two years and lost custody of her daughter, Lace, and son, D.J, after shooting her husband, Dominick, four times during an argument nearly 22 years ago. Dominick survived the shooting but was left paralyzed.

Claiming she was a “battered wife,” Debbie says she shot Dominick in self-defense after he threatened her with a knife. She says she after the shooting she discovered a cut on her arm after the shooting but claims she can’t remember whether Dominick did it or not. She also claims she blacked out during the shooting, but that she called 9-1-1 when she heard Dominick calling her name.

Debbie’s daughter, Lace, who was 6 at the time of the shooting, claims Debbie is a liar. She insists it wasn’t her mother, but a neighbor who called 9-1-1 that night.

“Is it possible that more than one person called 911?” Dr. Phil asks Lace in the video above.

“Yeah, I’m sure there could be,” she says. How does Lace respond when Dr. Phil asks her, “What do you need from your mother that you’re not getting?”
