Amanda claims that for the past several years, someone has been using her husband, Alan’s, online photos as catfish bait. She says she first heard about the scheme in 2012 when she began receiving messages from women alerting her to a profile on a social media dating app featuring Alan’s photos.

“I didn’t think there was anything we could do about it, so we just kind of let it go," says Alan.

Amanda says they weren’t too worried at first. Then one of the victims sent them pictures of both the exterior and interior of their home.

“That’s when I realized what we thought was a catfish was actually someone stalking our family,” she says in the video above.
