Woman Confronts Man She Says She Believes Killed Her Son

          January 6, 2017

On the night of April 13, 2011, Christina’s 20-year-old son, Stephin, was shot and killed. His lifeless body was left by the side of the road where she discovered it.

“I found my son Stephin laying in a ditch and as I was running up to him, all I could see was the side of his face was blown apart and I was trying to hold his face together so that we could do CPR,” she recalls. Watch her story here.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: At your final breaking point?

Three people were arrested in connection with the murder, including Stephin’s good friend Devin, who ultimately pled guilty to negligent homicide. He served two years four months of a five-year sentence and was recently released. Devin maintains that he did not bring the gun, load the gun or shoot the gun.

However, Christina says she's convinced Devin pulled the trigger and killed her son. In the video above, the two come face to face for the first time in over a year.

“You stopped and shot my son. You left Stephin in a ditch, shot, riddled with bullet holes. You went to your house, you hid the gun behind your building and then you went in and went to sleep because you were tired,” Christina says to Devin. “What kind of friend does that?”
