Aundrea admits that she is an alcoholic and a liar. She says she has been drinking for the last nine years, after she realized it made her feel better when she was upset.

“I had an argument with my husband one night, and he laughed at me, and rolled over and went to sleep,” Aundrea recalls. “I still was just so upset, so I thought, you know what? A rum and coke would be really good right now. I think I’ll do that.”

“So you got up and went and medicated yourself, essentially,” Dr. Phil says.

“I didn’t know that’s what I was doing. I just thought, oh boy. This is great. Why didn’t I do this sooner,” Aundrea continues.

Andrea’s family says she has been drinking since then and has been an embarrassment to them. Her daughter, Rachel, says Aundrea showed up at her fifth-grade school birthday party drunk and singing and dancing, has driven carpool intoxicated and has been arrested multiple times, sometimes in their community while neighbors watched.
