She says she monitors her blood pressure daily, sometimes up to 10 times a day, checks her blood sugar multiple times an hour, and checks the pH levels in her blood.
“Right now, I’m feeling anxiety. I can’t get a deep enough breath as often as I want to,” she says. “The light is hurting my eyes, and I’m very lightheaded. The young mother of three, who says she used to be the life of the party and have dreams and goals, says she can no longer drive or work and can’t take care of her children on her own. She says she’s been to 27 doctors and visited the ER 40 times, but no one can figure out what is wrong with her.
“I feel there’s an underlying issue that’s causing my anxiety that has not been discovered,” she says. “It’s very disheartening when you go to people for help and they just shrug you off as, like, a crazy person … I know, absolutely, what I’m feeling is real. It’s terrifying.”
