Woman Meets Family Members Of Men Who She Believes Killed Her Father
When Crissana was 8 years old, her father, police officer Allen Gibson, was shot and killed while on duty. Terrence Richardson and Ferrone Claiborne were arrested for the murder but insist they are innocent and were coerced into pleading guilty to lesser charges to avoid the death penalty. A year later, in 1999, Richardson and Claiborne were indicted on federal charges for drug conspiracy that resulted in the murder of Officer Gibson. The jury found them not guilty of murder but guilty of the drug charge, and in a rare legal move, the judge referenced their previous guilty pleas and sentenced them to life in prison.
Claiborne’s sister, Felisha, and Richardson’s daughter, Iquisha, both say their loved one didn’t commit murder, and the real killer needs to be found. Jarrett Adams, Richardson and Claiborne’s attorney, says there is plenty of evidence pointing to another suspect.
