Just weeks away from finalizing her divorce from Mike, her husband of 23 years, Jessica says even though she’s kept up her certifications for nursing, being at home with her kids is all she’s ever known.

“I don’t drink. I don’t do drugs. I don’t cheat. I’m basically always at home or with them,” she says.

Jessica is asking the court for continued support from Mike for herself and their daughters. Mike claims he has PTSD, depression, and anxiety and can no longer work, but Jessica claims that Mike is lying “so he can financially abandon his family.”

“There comes a time when things change that you have to be adaptive and roll with the changes,” says Dr. Phil in the video above.
