Andrea says when she and her husband adopted Savannah as a young child, they knew she was born to a “drug mother,” whom she was taken away from at 2 and that she had been molested in foster care – but she says they had no idea what was to come on their journey of parenthood.TELL DR. “The second day we got Savannah, things started going downhill,” Andrea says. “When she was 16, that’s when I got the call that she had been picked up for prostitution.” After that, Andrea says Savannah ran away and became involved with sex trafficking.

“My mother takes zero responsibility for the things that have happened to me,” Savannah says. “She did not know how to raise somebody like me.”
Andrea says she received her master’s degree in psychology to try and help understand her daughter but that “it didn’t work,” so she turned to Dr. Phil for help
. “I’ve never been able to find that thing that would help her,” she says.
