Woman Says Ex-Husband Lost Their Million-Dollar Retirement And Now He’s Being Scammed Online
“I believe my ex-husband, Bob, has lost his mind,” says Jeremi.
She says that when they retired, Robert got involved in day trading. Then, she says she tried to charge something on their credit card and learned the card was maxed out.
“We were broke. Our $1 million nest egg was gone,” Jeremi says.
Jeremi claims Robert then became “obsessed” with making the money back, so he went online and started talking to women. “They would say they had a lot of money, but they couldn’t get at it, and if he would just give them a little bit of money, then he would benefit with the larger amount of money, once they got the money free,” she explains. “Bob was being scammed. I don’t believe he had any idea of what was going on, and nobody could tell him different.”
