Woman Says She’s Taken Coronavirus More Seriously Than Husband, And Tension Has Caused Her To Consider Divorce
Pepper and her husband, Pearson, have been married 42 years and run a marriage ministry. Although they spend much of their time offering guidance to other couples, they say they aren’t immune to marriage problems, especially now while in self-isolation at home because of the coronavirus.

Pepper says the tension created by the forced isolation has resulted in her considering divorce. “I’d say 95% of the time he’s a very congenial, easy-going, laidback type person,” she says. “But if I step on that landmine, and it’s been exacerbated by the fact that we’re in this isolation, almost like a pressure cooker environment, I’m afraid that he’s going to provoke me.”
