Amanda and her fiancé, Alexis, recently lost custody of their two children when Child Protective Services alleged that Amanda violated a court order requiring supervision by Alexis’ mother any time the kids were with them. Amanda’s mother, Anna Lisa, who has been caring for the children, says she doesn’t think either parent is fit to raise them at this time.

Amanda admits that she’s made mistakes and says she doesn’t want to put her kids in harm’s way anymore. When Dr. Phil discusses the 10 parental fitness factors social services look for to determine readiness to parent, Amanda says she’s willing to do what it takes to regain custody of their children. Alexis, who insists he’s a good father, says he blames Anna Lisa for interfering in their lives.

“Please stop arguing,” says Amanda to Alexis in the video above. When she urges him to, “Just please listen to the 10 things we need to do to get the kids,” how does Alexis respond?
