When Dr. Phil met Meagan and her family in Season 9, she was 5’5”, weighed just 73 lbs., was dependent on laxatives, and said she had been battling eating disorders for more than a decade.

Her parents, Donna and Tom, and sister, Erika, said they feared the 26-year-old could die at any moment. The family also admitted to enabling Meagan’s disease in order to “keep the peace.”

Following her appearance, Meagan went into residential treatment at Center for Change.

“I don’t even know if I’d even be on this earth today if I hadn’t gotten your help and support," says Meagan on Wednesday’s Dr. Phil  “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Tune in to find out how Meagan says she’s doing today.
