Woman Whose Daughter Was Killed By Drunk Driver Questions A Woman Who Admits To Driving Drunk
Meagan and her best friend, Lisa, were driving home from babysitting at 2:30 a.m. on May 11, 2002, when they were hit by a drunk driver, sending them off the road and into a tree. The 20-year-olds died on impact.
“Since Meagan and Lisa died, our lives have been irreversibly changed,” says Renne, Meagan’s mom. “They died in a senseless tragedy caused by someone’s choice to drink and drive. After all these years, I still ask why.”
On Monday, Eric, the man who received two DUI manslaughter charges for killing Meagan and Lisa and was sentenced to 22 years in prison, shares his story, and he has some powerful words for Laura. Check local listings to see where you can watch.
