Woman Whose Lung Collapsed From Vaping Says The Pain From Treatment ‘Would Not End’
Grace says she started vaping at 19 because she thought it was cool. Now 23, she has vowed never to vape again after being hospitalized twice with a collapsed lung.
“It was one of the most horrific pains I’ve ever experienced, and it would not end,” Grace says of the medical treatment.
This episode of Dr. Phil, “Flavor Chasing: The Teen Vaping Crisis,” airs Thursday. And later, Dr. Phil talks to Dr. Cedric Jamie Rutland, a board-certified pulmonologist and national spokesperson for the American Lung Association, about the damage vaping can do to the lungs.
