‘Y’all Can Put Me In A Program For Six Years And I’m Gonna Come Out The Same Person I Went In’

          February 10, 2017

After her first appearance on Dr. Phil, Danielle spent four-and-a-half months at Turn-About Ranch in Utah. The residential treatment program and school helps troubled teens work toward improving behaviors while they learn responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Despite earning high praise and admiration from the staff for her marked improvement in attitude and behavior, on Friday’s Dr. Phil, Danielle’s mom, Barbara Ann, reports, while she’s no longer stealing cars or running away from home, she has begun to slip back into her some of her old behaviors.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Conflict so big it needs a Dr. Phil solution?

At the time she was at Turn-About Ranch Danielle praised the program. Now she says her words were just for show. “I was just trying to get out of there,” declares the teen. “Let me put it this way … Y’all can put me in a program for six years and I’m gonna come out the same person I came in.”

Danielle gained notoriety on the internet for her outrageous interactions with the studio audience during her last visit to Dr. Phil. When she walks out onto the stage during Friday’s episode, and finds the audience has been removed, she reacts with surprise.
