When she contacted Dr. Phil in 2016, Barbara Ann told producers she was at the end of her rope with the adolescent, who she claimed had transformed from a loving daughter, into a provocative, physically combative teen who stole cars and repeatedly ran away from home.

Danielle captivated millions with her unique way of talking and outrageous behaviors when she originally appeared on Dr. Phil. She immediately became an internet sensation when she coined a sassy catchphrase first uttered on the show - “Cash me ousside, howbow dah,” - while interacting with the audience.

When Dr. Phil asks Danielle “What’s good” about her recent notoriety on the internet, the quick-thinking teen responds with a smile, “I guess what’s good for you is – I made you just like Oprah made you. You were nothin’ before I came on this show.”

After her original appearance on the show, Danielle was referred to a residential treatment program at Turn-About Ranch in Utah, where she worked toward learning accountability, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills.

“I thought she did very well,” says Shane Young, Admissions Director at Turn-About Ranch. “I really saw a difference in the way that she was acting, but also in the way that she led and was an example to the other girls.”

Danielle finally admits she’s glad she went. Then she opens up about her plans for the future, and how she hopes to turn her fame on social media into helping others.
