Rashelle claims she was preparing to leave the house when her mother dragged her down the stairs. “I had bruised ribs. I had bruises all down my body from where she had punched and kicked me. I had ruptured the blood vessel in my left eye,” Rashelle claims. “After I had fallen down the stairs, she came after me again, and I grabbed a pair of scissors, and I told her, ‘If you don’t stop, I’m going to have to stab you, because if you don’t stop, you’re going to kill me and I’m going to have to kill you first.’”

“She started calling me names. I pushed her on the floor. I had just had surgery on my leg and she started punching me in the incision in my leg,” Jemma says. “Social services did show up. He asked me, ‘What do you think would be the odds of this happening again?’ And I told him, ‘It depends on whether she’s going to call me a [expletive] or try to hit me anymore. If she doesn’t do that, it will never happen again. If it does, I’m going to punch her in the face.’ I meant that then and I mean it now.”
What does Jemma say now about her statement? And, does she acknowledge her daughter’s claims and apologize? This episode of Dr. Phil airs Thursday. Watch more here.
