Diversity-Equity-Inclusion
A distinct focus on “group” over “individual” has infected the corporate world through a philosophy known as DEI – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Companies implement these initiatives to recruit individuals from underrepresented racial groups, as well as diverse genders, ages, and other demographics. We all bring different individual experiences and perspectives to our jobs. We want diverse perspectives – that’s a good thing, it helps teams better understand challenges, solve problems, and connect with customers. But that comes from diverse individuals, not group quotas. Are you concerned that DEI policies are negatively impacting your company or community?
